The Bible way of salvation

God wants to have a personal relationship with everyone, and He offers to all those who want to know Him, a home in heaven.

"And this is the Promise He has promised us, even eternal life."

(1 John 2:25)

But we can't get to heaven on our own, because we could never be good enough.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God."

(Romans 3:23)

Thankfully, God provided another way for us to be saved through Jesus.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Jesus died on our behalf so that our sins could be forgiven. He lived the life none of us ever could and paid the price none of us could ever afford to pay. It's only by Christ's sacrifice and His death on the cross that we can be saved.

"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."  (Acts 4:12)

The Bible says,

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." (Acts 16:31) and "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

This is just how much God wants to share heaven with you. He simply says if you believe enough in Him to ask with your whole heart, you can be saved.
